Cos Cob Park-Request for Bid-Pre-Bid Meeting

The Engineering Division is looking for qualified bidders to submit bids on the Cos Cob Park Construction and Final Remediation. The plans are available for download on the Purchasing page of the Town website. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Tuesday June 4, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Town Hall. See the attached "Cos Cob Pre-bid Meeting Notice" for details on the meeting.

The Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works has issued a Statement Concerning Fill on parcels undergoing modifications or redevelopment. The Engineering Division believes this will provide guidance to the design professionals working on projects, especially in FEMA designated flood zones. |

Traffic Signals to Include Concurrent Pedestrian Phase
|

Several Traffic Signals are to include Concurrent Pedestrian Phase - At the March 7, 2013 Board of Selectman meeting, the Board in their power as Legal Traffic Authority approved the conversion of 10 traffic signals to be changed from an Exclusive Pedestrian Phase to a Concurrent Pedestrian Phase. The formal presentation describing the process can be found here .The anticipated implementation time is approximately 3-6 months.
