RESERVATION DAY FOR OVERNIGHT CAMPING AND PICNICS

The Department of Parks and Recreation will begin accepting Reservations for Overnight Camping Permits and Town Picnic Areas for the 2013 Season.
Reservations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis for Greenwich Residents beginning at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 on the 2nd Floor at Town Hall in the Cone Conference Room.

The Department of Parks and Recreation announces the locations of the two Town Fireworks Displays in celebration of Independence Day. POTABLE WATER ON GREAT CAPTAIN ISLAND TAINTED WITH SALT WATER

As a result of Super Storm Sandy, the potable water on Great Captain Island has been tainted with salt water. This issue will stabilize over time and the water will improve. Until such time, it is recommended that visitors bring bottled drinking water with them when they visit the island. |
