The Comptroller is the town's Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the management and operations of the Finance Department.
The Finance Department consists of
Accounts Payable,
Budgeting and Systems,
Internal Audit,
Risk Management,
Treasury and
Workers' Compensation and administration of the town's retirement plans.
The Comptroller by Town Charter is an ex officio member of the Town Retirement System.
